1. Font Awesome Icons
The DreamTheme integrates Font Awesome Icons for a more polished and professional look that boosts trust and helps users navigate your shop with ease. The best part is that the theme uses locally hosted Font Awesome Icons, meaning there’s no need for your shop to connect to external servers.
The primary reason you should use locally installed Font Awesome Icons is that alternatives often are not GDPR compliant, or in other words, could break the law. By using the DreamTheme, you can sleep easy knowing your shop remains within legal bounds.
2. 1-, 3-, or 4-lined Product Names
By default, product names in your category and product listings are displayed on two lines. However, sometimes this isn’t enough, and sometimes it’s too much. With DreamTheme, you can choose how many lines you want the product names to be displayed.
To use this feature, simply add one of the following CSS classes to your category listing sections. Depending on the class, the names will display in 1, 3, or 4 lines instead of the default 2 lines.
- name2gether-1line – for 1 line
- name2gether-3lines – for 3 lines
- name2gether-4lines – for 4 lines
3. Stock-Based Color Changes on Delivery Info
DreamTheme enables stock-based color changes on delivery information. Depending on your product's stock level, different colors will be used to highlight stock status. This feature will appear next to the shipping information on your product detail pages.
4. Advanced Top Header
The Advanced Top Header allows you to display your USPs (Unique Selling Propositions) to gain your visitors' trust by showing meaningful information, such as your Trusted Shops rating, shipping, or payment provider details. Additionally, you can link to your phone number for easier customer service.
- Display up to 3 USPs like "Free Shipping"
- Enable/Disable the currency chooser
- Set your preferred background color
5. Slideable Header Navigation
In standard Shopware 6 themes, the header navigation will show multiple lines if there are too many categories. The slideable header navigation is similar to the old header navigation from Shopware 5. It keeps the navigation in one line, regardless of the number of categories. The navigation can be scrolled horizontally by dragging with the mouse or using the scroll wheel. No visible scrollbar is shown while scrolling or dragging.
6. Enhanced Mobile Header Layout
DreamTheme provides an enhanced mobile header layout, offering the following improvements compared to the standard responsive theme:
- The logo and the rest of the header are placed in the same line, creating a more compact and professional look. This allows visitors to access key content faster.
- The sandwich menu (to open the categories sidebar) has been moved to the right side, making it easier to access while scrolling on mobile devices.
Important Note: Before you deactivate the checkbox function for accepting the terms and conditions, consult a lawyer or your data privacy specialist. There are large stores (such as Zalando) using this function, but legal precautions should be taken. We cannot provide legal advice.
Cache Cow (Increases Pagespeed by 30% or more)
The cache feature must be activated in the plugin settings. Choose your sales channel, input your shop’s URL, and save the settings. Then, clear and warm up your shop's cache for improved performance.
Sticky Header Navigation
Activate the Sticky Navigation from your theme settings under Header > General Header Settings. This feature keeps the header fixed in place while scrolling through the page.
Clown Navigation
With Clown Navigation, you can assign unique background colors (on hover/active links) to each navigation link. This allows you to highlight different categories with distinct colors, enhancing the visual appeal of your site’s navigation.
Top-Header Service Links Menu
The Top-Header Service Links Menu, which was deprecated in later Shopware 6 versions, has been reinstated in DreamTheme. You can enable/disable it in your theme settings under Header > Top-Header settings.
