PayPal's latest, all-in-one checkout solution. Securely accept PayPal Digital Payments, credit/debit cards and local payment methods. It also lets you offer Venmo (US only), Pay Later options and more — all designed to help you maximize conversion.

Payment upon Invoice (Germany):

To be able to continue offering your customers payment upon invoice, you can switch to the new PayPal Checkout in just a few steps. Your customers will only pay after 30 days, but you will paid up front. Your customers don't even need a PayPal account* for this.

PayPal Express Button

With PayPal Express Button, you can make the payment method for your customers faster, more convenient, and smoother: Your customers can get to the PayPal payment page with just one click. In addition, you can shorten the payment process with the PayPal Express button to get directly from the product view to pay with PayPal without detours. This allows you to generate more purchases free of charge –optimized for mobile payment on smartphones and tablets.

Shopware Update 6.5.8.1 funktioniert nicht mit aktuellem Paypal 7.3.1

Mit dem aktuellen Shopware Update 6.5.8.1 gibt es Probleme im Frontend. Das Problem kommt vom Paypal Plugin, das noch in der Version 7.3.1 aktuell ist. Wird das Paypal Plugin deaktiviert funktioniert das Frontend wieder.
Bitte DRINGEND ein Update von Paypal nachschieben - aktuell können keine Online-Bestellungen abgewickelt werden !!

Hallo Frank, leider können wir das Problem so nicht nachvollziehen. Häufig behebt bei Plugin-Updates ein Leeren des PHP-opcache oder ein Neustart des Webservers bereits alle Probleme. Stellen Sie zudem sicher, dass keine doppelten Plugin-Verzeichnisse vorhanden sind. Falls weiterhin Probleme bestehen, bitte gerne an https://issues.shopware.com/ berichten.

Schlechte Performance, einfach unterirdisch wie so ein Plugin auf den Markt kommen kann

Das Plugin lässt die Performance des Shops geradezu mit Vollspeed nach unten fallen. Man könnte meinen, dass Shopware selbst in der Lage sei eine Schnittstelle zu programmieren, die mit ihrem eigenen CMS System auch harmoniert - weit gefehlt. Das Plugin ist schlimmer als in Showpare 5 (was die Performance angeht). Anbindung etc ging schnell und gut, daher hier 2 Sterne anstatt 0.

Performanetechnisch eine Vollkatastrophe - das MUSS unbedingt nachgebessert werden.

Schon vor dem Update auf 6.5 kommt der Hinweis, daß diese Erweiterung womöglich nicht mit der Version 6.5 kompatibel ist?
Warum sowas bei einem beworbenen Basis-Bestandteil von Shopware?

Plugin Java Script konsumiert unnötig Ressourcen

Das Paypal Plugin kommt mit einem Java-Script Code, der unnötig Ressourcen verbraucht und laut Google als Hauptursache für lange Seitenladezeiten bei mir ist. Warum funktioniert das Plugin nicht so, dass das dazugehörende Java Script nur auf den Checkout Seiten ausgespielt wird?

leider ist es nicht mehr möglich seit Update auf 6.5 Rückerstattungen aus dem Dashboard raus zu machen. Man muss tatsächlich sich direkt bei Paypal einwählen und die Bestellung manuell raussuchen um Rückzuerstatten - bitte unbedingt nachbessern!

Auch wenn wir noch nicht aktiv sind, evtl. ein Grund auf einen anderen Shopanbieter zu wechseln!
Das Plugin ist von Shopware selbst! Wie kann es sein, dass es nicht funktioniert?

No Risk no fun. Nie weiß man, ob es nach einem Update des Plugins noch läuft, irgendetwas zerschießt oder man glücklich aufatmet. So macht aktualisieren Spaß, nicht das langweilige klicken und fertig.
So muss es sein - immer Spannung im täglichen Shopwareleben!
Ohne Shopware wäre esangweilig.
Wir sind froh, dass Shopware und dieses aufregende Leben ermöglich.

Shop nicht erreichbar - Error 500

Unser Shop ist nach dem Update auf Version 7.1.0 auch nicht erreichbar. Nach dem Downgrade funktioniert es wieder. Wie kann es sein, dass PayPal innerhalb von nun ca. zwei Wochen nicht nachbessert und ein funktionierendes Update bereitstellt?

Es werden bei jeder Shop-Seite Requests an Paypal ausgeführt. Egal ob ein Paypal-Button auf der Seite eingebunden ist oder nicht, was man auch einstellt und/oder bez. Cookie-Einstellungen aktiviert.
Das verlangsamt nicht nur die Seite erheblich (Stichwort Startseite oder Landingpages) sondern ist auch bez. Datenschutz fragwürdig.
