About the Extension

A simple plug-in enables direct searching by product numbers in the storefront. In Shopware 6, it's possible that a direct search by product numbers may yield multiple results. As a shop owner, there is often a desire to ensure that only the corresponding product is displayed when searching by a product number.

This plug-in verifies whether the product number of the initially found product matches the entered search term. If a match is found, it results in a "direct hit," and all subsequent products are removed from the search results. This ensures that when searching by a product number, only one product is displayed. The plug-in also takes into account variants in the format ".."

This solution enhances the user experience and ensures that customers can quickly and accurately find the desired products.

Important notice:

The extension does not alter the core search logic and is therefore not responsible for the search algorithm itself or whether products are found or not.

The plug-in simply filters the search results in such a way that if the product number of a found product matches the search input,

all other results will not be displayed.

Das Plugin funktioniert wie beschrieben.
Der Support antwortet innerhalb ein paar Stunden, auch wenn man die Anfrage nicht über die Supportfunktion des Shopwareaccounts schickt.
